A modern-day take on Cyrano de Bergerac, APP follows Paul, a shy and brilliant app developer, as he desperately tries to get venture capital for his sexy wingwoman app from a sex-starved investor, Mike. To convince Mike to invest, Paul uses his app to seduce a feisty stranger, Zoe. As the App whispers advice, Paul becomes a hipster Don Juan and they grow closer through the night. But when Paul starts to feel a genuine connection, all his calculations become a little more complicated.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Jazz and Studio Music from the University of Miami, Braden moved to Los Angeles and began his formal acting training. He has played a spectrum of characters from a creepy rapist on CRIMINAL MINDS to a motion-captured Spartan soldier in HALO 4’s weekly episodes to a put-upon Russian Techie on NCIS: LA, has been directed by Werner Herzog and Peter Farrelly, and has lent his countless character voices and accents to such video games as BIOSCHOCK II and THE PRINCESS BRIDE.
Sara started her professional on camera work as a model at age fourteen. She completed the UCB training program, has trained at Groundlings, and was a member of the “Cousin Larry” Improv group. She studied with Cameron Thor for many years as well as the Lesly Kahn Studios. Sara appeared in acting roles on television shows such as TWO AND HALF MEN, PARKS & RECREATIONS, NCIS, WORKAHOLICS, MONK, and PAS- SIONS. Sara currently can be seen starring opposite Rex Lee in the upcoming film “SOMEONE I USED TO KNOW.
J.R. Cacia was born in small town Hammonton, NJ. He has studied with Sal Dano, and currently with Deb Aquila and John Hindman. He considers famed Broadway director (whom he worked with on THE CLOSER), Arvin Brown, a major influence and a close friend. J.R. also teaches an acting class in West Hollywood. His credits include 2012 Oscar winner, ARGO, CSI:NY, NCIS, DEXTER and HOUSE among others. He can now be seen in critically acclaimed director Rodrigo Garcia’s BLUE on YouTube channel Wigsco with Julia Stiles and he has a recurring role on the upcoming MIS- TRESSES on ABC.
Alex graduated Harvard University with a BA in Visual Art. His documentary about tank-riding reindeer herders, Songs from the Tundra, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Provincetown International Film Festival. For his documentary work, he received the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship to shoot a feature about spirituality and disaster in the Russian Far East called The Volcano People. Edouard de Lachomette, Producer
A French and Swiss binational, Edouard holds a Masters degree in business and finance from H.E.C. Paris and an MFA degree from the American Film Institute Conservatory. Prior to AFI, he has held various advisory and investment positions in the financial industry in London and New York. He has since been developing a number of narrative projects and is currently working for an active Hollywood-based film producer.

Edward holds a BA in Film from Fairleigh Dickinson University with minor in Cinematography, and his MFA from the American Film Institute in Cinematography. While in attendance at AFI, both his cinematography visual essays, SHAKEN(16mm) & MUSE(35mm), were selected as part of the KODAK sponsored Cinematography showcase. Jeremy has edited dozens of short films, trailers, a Public Radio documentary and a feature. The feature, which Jeremy also wrote/directed, NEBRASKA SUPERSONIC, won the No Dance Film Festival Best Screenplay and Golden Orbs awards. Jeremy's screenplay, CENTRAL, won invitations to the Film Independent Screenwriters Lab and to the CineStory Competition Retreat. Benjamin Berman, Animation
Ben recently graduated Harvard University with a BA in Visual Art and Computer Science. He is an assistant to director Errol Morris in Cambridge, MA, where he contributes visual and special effects for feature films. His digital interactives have appeared online in The New York Times, including opinion pieces written in collaboration with Mr. Morris. His animations have appeared in his brother Alex’s films since 2010; he currently an independent mobile game developer.
